COVID-19 Update: Foot Care Professionals Deemed Essential Service
On Thursday, March 26th the BC Government listed health services, including foot care professionals, that engage in direct-patient interaction as an essential service. We recognize that there are many individuals in the public that are currently experiencing foot and lower-body pain; especially the front-line workers who are spending prolonged periods of time on their feet helping respond to the COVID-19 emergency. Kintec is here to help.
Now that we are recognized as an essential service, we have reinstated our One2One program, effective Friday, March 27th. The One2One program includes pedorthic assessments, orthotic fittings, orthotic adjustments, brace fittings and footwear appointments.
The One2One progam is designed to provide you the safest and highest level of personal attention. Interactions will be limited to one person at a time. This will provide you an unprecedented level of personalized service in the safest manner possible.
Here are some specifics you will find helpful:

March 24, 2020 at 12:26 pmWhat is the difference between the old Superfeet Sandal and its replacement The Humanco Thanks
Michael Ryan
March 29, 2020 at 11:50 amHi Ricky, thanks for your question. The HumanCo sandal has increased contouring through the arch to provide greater support to the muscles in the feet which should help reduce foot fatigue when you’re standing for longer periods. The HumanCo sandal is also built from a different last (or foot model) so would feel a little different in how the front strap secures to the foot. I should add that, the Superfeet sandal is still a good option as either home footwear or going to the beach or pool (whenever they finally open) and they are on clearance now on our shop-site: Superfeet Sandal Clearance.
Take care
