Saucony Triumph ISO 3 Shoe Review
From the very first step on the pavement until the very last, the Saucony Triumph ISO 3 provided a supreme plush ride. It didn’t even feel like I was running on cement!
Fit
It also provided a very nice comfortable fit, with ample toe wiggle room that seemed to move with me at each step.
The additional cushioned insert beneath the stocked sock liner was a nice surprise, too! This will allow for a more custom fit to accommodate most foot shapes. This Triumph ISO 3 easily accommodated a full-length custom foot orthotic.
Where To Wear
Besides the fun runs on the road, I was able to enjoy these shoes with interval work on the treadmill and fitness classes that incorporated resistance training. These were a nice lightweight and breathable shoe to go for family walks and running errands.
There was an immediate difference in my running stride due to the 8mm offset. I have run in this heel-to-toe pitch before and really enjoy it. But I will caution those who want to try this shoe out to slowly transition into this offset – especially if you are not used to running in it.
I would refrain from using this shoe on trail runs or hikes, as it would quickly break down the shoe – not to mention not safe on those types of terrains.
As you rack up the miles with this well-cushioned neutral road runner, it will make you feel like your feet are faster and lighter than ever before.
